Insurance expenses are too low in Saudi Arabia

On average, Saudi people spend 992 SAR (264 USD) per capita and per year on insurance. This amount accounts for just 30% of the expenses disbursed by an Emirati, 6.6% by an American and 4.8% by a British.

The contribution of the insurance sector to Saudi GDP is also deemed inadequate. It is set at 1.1% compared to 6% at the global level.
