Insurance fraud up by 22%

British insurers are facing a massive increase in fraud. In 2013, reported cases increased by 22%, over 90% of them pertain to false information provided by the insured during policy underwriting.
This deception is up by 11%. Examples detected by the authorities are different. Fraud can range from the wrong address to the registration of the name of a third party as the main driver to benefit from special rates.
