Humanoids at the service of AIA Singapore customers

AIA Singapore has inaugurated its futuristic customer service center at Finlayson Green. The first humanoids of the Singaporean insurance sector, Pepper and Nadine, were presented there.

The two robots, at the service of AIA, were conceived by the scientists of Singapore's Nanyang Technological University. They have the ability to perceive emotions and interact with humans. Their effectiveness will continuously improve thanks to the knowledge aquired through interaction with customers and learning from past experiences.

According to NG Keng Hooi, CEO of the AIA Group, this initiative highlights the insurer's leadership in the search for new concepts in order to optimize the services offered to customers.

This innovation comes in addition to the introduction of the first digital underwriter through interactive point of sales. An initiative that allows clients to authenticate their requests using the remote authentification function.
