Tunisia, insurer AMI, in search of foreign partner

AMI Assurances is searching for a strategic foreign partner. The Tunisian insurer will officially announce its intentions in April. The final choice of this partner will be made before the end of next October. Once selected, the entity will enter the company’s capital up to 33%.

The company’s major shareholders are currently the Banque Nationale Agricole (22%) and Hédi Bouchamaoui Group Holding (20%). AMI is the market’s major motor insurer.
