Insurers are evolving towards connected solutions

According to consultancy firm, Accenture, insurance companies have considerably increased their online offers. Nearly 40% of the 400 companies quizzed stated that they had connected offers. Such offers were limited to 14% in 2014 but grew to 39% in 2015.

In the area of health insurance, 35% of the companies have proposed solutions on the internet. This figure jumped to 57% in motor insurance and to 61% in home insurance.

For the 45% of the insured polled, the website will be generating quite interesting premium volumes in three years’ time. In addition, this tool allows insurance companies to be in permanent contact with their insured and to collect a large amount of personal data.
