Insurers must offer earthquake and tsunami cover

South Korean authorities have amended the regulations on storm and flood insurance. As of last June 7, these policies should also include earthquake and tsunami coverage.
So far, the damages paid by the insurers pertained only to typhoons, storms, floods and snow. The government's decision follows the Japanese catastrophe on March 11, 2011.
