Jordan is trying to develop medical insurance

A high percentage of the Jordanian population (87%) benefits from medical insurance. The Ministry of Health has expressed its willingness cover those who do not have such insurance. Reducing wastage of medicines is also on the agenda. This waste is estimated at 49.3 million USD per year.
