Jubilee Insurance has inaugurated its internet portal dedicated to marine insurance. This platform provides customers and intermediaries with access to insurance policies. The latter may therefore manage their accounts directly.

This system presents an advantage for importers and exporters who have the possibility to create an account, declare property in transit, obtain an insurance certificate for the goods being carried or to notify claims.

The authorities are also given access to the website in order to monitor and validate the insurance certificates issued through this platform. This technological breakthrough will minimize fraud risk.
