Kenya Re, AM Best is optimistic

AM Best has granted Kenya Re a B+ for its financial strength, an assessment that is based on the forecasts of financial results sharply increasing for the year 2014.

AM Best is indeed expecting a notable improvement in the technical results of the non life insurance, a buoyant life portfolio and stable profitability of investment returns. Kenya Re's credit rating has also been revised upwards from bbb- to bbb.
