Laurent Rousseau promoted deputy general manager of SCOR Global P & C

Laurent Rousseau, chief underwriting officer of SCOR Global P & C for Europe, Middle East and Africa zones, has been promoted deputy general manager of SCOR Global P & C. L. Rousseau, who replaced Benjamin Gentsch, also joined the Group's Executive Committee as of April 1, 2018.

Aged 39, Laurent Rousseau is graduate of HEC (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales). He began his career in 2001 as a financial analyst specializing in insurance and reinsurance at Credit Suisse First Boston in London.

In 2005, he joined J.P. Morgan, where he was in charge of M & A transactions, capital raising and restructuring for European insurers and reinsurers. In 2010, he joined the SCOR Group as an advisor to the President and in 2012 became Chief Strategy Officer of SCOR Global P & C.

Three years later, L. Rousseau was appointed SCOR Global P & C Underwriting Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, a position he held until his recent promotion.
