Liberty Holdings heavily impacted by Covid-19

liberty insuranceThe South African insurer Liberty Holdings published its results for H1 2020.

After making a profit of 2.013 billion ZAR (142.52 million USD) in H1 2019, Liberty Holding recorded a net loss of 2.173 billion ZAR (125.7 million USD) at the end of June 2020. The pandemic made the insurer set up a provision of 3 billion ZAR (173.54 million USD).

For the record, Liberty Holdings, a life insurance expert, operates in 25 African countries.
