Liberty Mutual Insurance withdraws from the Turkish insurance market

After having operated more than 10 years in Turkey, Liberty Mutual Insurance is leaving the country. The American insurer has in fact sold its 99.4% stake in Liberty Sigorta to the German group Talanx.

Liberty Mutual Insurance entered the Turkish market in 2006 following the acquisition of local insurer Þeker Sigorta, which later became Liberty Sigorta.
