Lloyd's: insurance giant tackles sexual harassment

harcelementThe global insurance giant is being questioned in a survey carried out by the Bloomberg agency. The press institution reported on several cases of sexual harassment in the workplace of women employed by Lloyd's. Eighteen of them report inappropriate comments or gestures by their male colleagues.

The insurer indicated that a series of measures will be taken to overcome this phenomenon which tarnishes the image of the company and the profession.

These include defining the facts that can be described as sexual harassment, identifying those responsible and enforcing sanctions upon them.

The second set of measures includes the access of some employees to positions of responsibility, enhancing the image of women in the company.
