Lower motor insurance prices in the United Arab Emirates

Automobile insurance rates decreased for the first time since early 2017, date when the new unified motor insurance contract started to be implemented. The decrease in average prices ranges from 10 to 20%.

The Emirates supervisory authority points out, however, that it will soon apply other specific rates for drivers who are highly involved in road accidents, those under the age of 25 as well as for certain categories of vehicles (luxury or sports cars).
