Madagascar has once again been exposed to climatic disturbances

Following a series of six cyclones in 2007, Madagascar has once again been exposed to climatic disturbances. In January 2008, the cyclone Fame has caused the death of twelve people and left almost 5000 homeless.
In February, it is the cyclone Ivan, accompanied by wind gusts of over 200 km/h speed, which lashed Madagascar coasts, claiming 22 lives.
