Assurances Maghrebia: results 2019

Maghrebia has published the results 2019 of its two subsidiaries Assurances Maghrebia and Assurances Maghrebia Vie.

By late 2019, Assurances Maghrebia, the non-life company recorded 172.331 million TND (61.511 million USD) in gross written premiums against 159.486 million TND (52.987 million USD) by the end of 2018, an increase of 8.05% over one year.

The incurred losses increased by 6.5% and were set at 91.936 million TND (32.815 million USD) against 86.346 million TND (28.687 million USD) in 2018. The net result rose by 16.65% ans was established at 11.811 million TND (4.215 million USD).

On the other hand, Maghrebia Vie recorded a turnover of 66.144 million TND (23.609 million USD) in 2019, that is an increase of 13.08% in comparison with the 58.489 million TND (19.432 million USD) recorded one year earlier. The incurred losses increased by 8.2% going from 17.064 million TND (5.669 million USD) in 2018 to 18.478 million TND (6.595 million USD) one year later.

As of 31 December 2019, the life company’s net result amounted to 7.666 million TND (2.736 million USD) against 8.220 million TND (2.73 million USD) at the end of 2018, thus decreasing by 6.73%.
