Mapfre: results as of 30 September 2021

As of 30 September 2021, the Mapfre group posted a turnover of 16.632 billion EUR (19.362 billion USD), which is 7% higher than the same period in 2020.

Non-life premiums grew by 6.8% to reach 13.291 billion EUR (15.473 billion USD). The non-life combined ratio of 96.5% has been affected by the increase in the loss experience caused by the economic recovery.

The life activity, on the other hand, recorded a turnover of 3.341 billion EUR (3.889 billion USD), which rose by 7.4% over a year.

The net result went from 450.4 million EUR (527.202 million USD) during the first nine months of 2020 to 524.4 million EUR (610.49 million USD) at the end of September 2021, thus improving by 16.4%.

At the end of Q3 2021, the Group's equity amounted to 8.45 billion EUR (9.83 billion USD) while assets reached 70.812 billion EUR (82.4 billion USD).
