Mapfre revises downwards its 2021 targets

MapfreFaced with a difficult economic, political and social environment, Mapfre is revising downwards its 2019-2021 targets.

For the President of the Spanish group, Antonio Huertas, the panic triggered by the coronavirus pandemic is paralyzing the global activity. By the end of 2021, Mapfre is expecting a turnover ranging between 28 and 30 billion EUR (31.22 and 33.45 billion USD) and a return on equity (ROE) of 10%.

The combined ratio would stand between 96% and 97%.
