Mayfair Insurance targets Ugandan and Ethiopian markets

The Kenyan insurer Mayfair Insurance intends to expand its activities in East Africa by getting settled in Ethiopia and Uganda. The objective is to become a real pan-African financial group, according to Peter Kenneth, CEO of the group.

This expansion strategy also provides for the generalization of new technologies in order to ensure better penetration of insurance in the region.

The Mayfair group began its operations in 2005. In 13 years of existence, the Kenyan insurer has managed to settle in Zambia, Tanzania and Rwanda.
