Middle East and Africa, artificial intelligence market to grow at 530 million USD by 2022

numérisation médecineBoosted by public and private investments of the United Arab Emirates, the artificial intelligence (AI) market is expected to grow strongly in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), according to the International Data Corporation (IDC). It would, increase, hence, from 290 million USD in 2019 to 530 million USD in 2022, a leap of 83% in three years.

The UAE plans to develop this sector and improve public services as part of the AI Strategy 2031.

Artificial intelligence would thus provide a customised learning, a safer transportation, a better energy management and innovative communication technologies.
