GAFAMUpon meeting on 5 June 2021 in London, the world's seven powers (G7) validated the idea of a new tax legislation for multinationals. These provisions particularly target the GAFAMs (Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple and Microsoft).

The G7 countries (United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom and Japan) have agreed on a global corporate tax rate of at least 15%.

The objective of such a historic agreement is to establish a global tax reform, fit for the digital age.

A formal agreement is to be reached at the G20 meeting in July 2021.
