Motor claims experience in the UAE on the rise

According to a study conducted by RSA Insurance and RoadSafetyUAE, the motor claims experience has increased by 45% in recent months to a level similar to 2019. This is mainly due to the resumption of traffic in the country after the lockdown period.

This upward trend is expected to persist in the upcoming months. Industry professionals are also expecting higher motor insurance prices.

During the pandemic, motor claims have dropped by 60% as a result of the decrease in the number of road accidents during the lockdown period.
