Munich Re is revising downwards its growth forecasts for 2017

The losses caused by hurricanes Harvey and Irma would weigh heavily on Munich Re's results.

Committed to cover these catastrophes, the German reinsurer is expected to post a net significant loss in the third quarter of 2017.
The objective of an annual net result between 2 and 2.4 billion EUR (2.4 and 2.9 billion USD) will be difficult to achieve.
