Nadia Fettah Alaoui from insurance to politics

Nadia Fettah Alaoui, former general manager of Saham Finances Maroc, has joined the Moroccan government. She was appointed Minister of Tourism following a cabinet reshuffle on October 9, 2019.

A graduate of HEC Paris, Nadia Fettah spent 22 years in consulting, finance and insurance.

Professional career:

• 2000 : General manager of Maroc Invest Finances Group (private equity fund)
• 2005 : General manager of the "Support and Finance" division at Saham Group
• 2013 : Assistant general manager Finance and M&A at SAHAM Group
• 2014 : Assistant general manager, Finance & Operations of SAHAM Finances
• 2015 : Chairwoman of Continental Re's board of directeur
• 2017 : Assistant general manager of Saham Finances and chairwoman of SAHAM Assurance's board of directors.
• 2018 : General manager of Saham Finances and member of Sanlam Emerging Markets' executive committee
