Negotiations for the creation of natural catastrophes insurance.

The Philippine government has started talks with the World Bank and other international bodies over the establishment of a system to protect individuals against natural catastrophes. The finance ministry hopes to reach an agreement before the rainy season, which begins in two months’ time.
