Nest Investments Holdings to inject 130 million USD into Trust Re

Nest Investment HoldingNest Investments Holdings, the parent company of Trust Re, has injected 130 million USD into the Bahraini reinsurer. The purpose of this transaction is to strengthen the company's financial foundations.

Trust Re lost the A- rating assigned by A. M. Best in October 2018. Following this difficult episode, the reinsurer has profoundly restructured its governance and embarked on a policy of winning back its customers. The 2019 renewal exceeded the company's expectations.

Established in 1989, Trust Re underwrites reinsurance treaties and facultatives from offices in Bahrain, Malaysia, Morocco, Cyprus and India.
