Arthur Yao left Swiss Re Zurich to join Allianz Africa. The information was made public on March 13, 2018.

Yao will serve as chief underwriting and reinsurance officer. Based in Abidjan, A. Yao is under the authority of Delphine Traoré Maidou, Chief Operating Officer of Allianz Africa, and Olaf Novak, reinsurance manager of Allianz SE Re. This appointment will take effect on September 1, 2018.

A. Yao is Ivorian and has 14 years of experience in the field of insurance. He has a degree in actuarial sciences and business administration from the polytechnic national institute of Yamoussoukro (Côte d'Ivoire).
