New insurance company, Raynal Assurances

A new company has been set up in June 2006 in Ouagadougou: Raynal Assurances, branch of the group SUNI, already present in 8 African countries. Endowed with a 500 million FCFA (967 000 USD) capital, the new entity is chaired by Seydou Diakité.
The Burkina insurance market, which comprises 8 companies, has reported a turnover of 21 billion FCFA (40.6 million USD) in 2005.
