November 2018 floods in Kuwait: Damage assessment will take two months

A three-member committee was tasked to assess the damage caused by the November 2018 floods in Kuwait. According to Khaled Al Oteibi, the committe's rapporteur, the final toll of the damage will take two months to complete.

Under pressure, the Minister of Public Works Hussam Al-Roumi submitted his resignation and appointed an independent committee to investigate a number of public works contracts signed in recent years.
