Oman Insurance launches a health insurance product in the Middle East

Oman Insurance Company has joined forces with four insurance companies to introduce its new health insurance product (RIMS). The relevant parties include Delta Insurance (Jordan), KIB Takaful Insurance (Kuwait), SNIC Insurance (Bahrain) and Walaa Cooperative Insurance (Saudi Arabia).

Oman Insurance Company has also called on MedNet, a subsidiary of Munich Re to provide "third-party payer" services.The solution is available in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. It will soon be extended to Egypt and Qatar.

Through this initiative, the Emirati insurer aims to simplify and improve access to health insurance for companies operating in the Middle East.
