One million Windows devices hacked

cyber risks Nearly one million devices running on Windows have been infected by a virus. The maneuver could end in large-scale ransomware attacks.

To stop the proliferation of the virus, Google had to remove 63 million documents hosted on Google Docs and delete more than 1 100 Google profiles. It also made the network of devices (botnet), called Glupteba, inaccessible to hackers.

The net giant has filed a lawsuit in federal court in New York against hackers.
