Online underwriting of motor insurance contracts in the United Arab Emirates

An insurtech based in Abu Dhabi is launching a web application that allows policyholders to underwrite motor policies and file claims online.

Called Hala, the platform rewards the best drivers. If the latter drive without causing accidents for one year, they can benefit from a substantial discount on their insurance premium for the following year.

In addition to the rewards, Hala policyholders will benefit from 24/7 roadside assistance.
