Opening of the first car claims center dedicated to women in Saudi Arabia

A first car claims management center dedicated to women has opened in Saudi Arabia. Launched by the local insurer SALAMA, this initiative comes on the eve of the application of the law authorizing women to drive.

The new entity is located on Al-Madinah Road. It is managed by Mirvat Halawani and includes only female staff. Several other centers will soon be launched in other parts of the country, says a manager of the company.

On September 26, 2017, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia , Mohammed Bin Salman signed an unprecedented law authorizing women to drive a vehicle starting from 1 June 2018.
