Orient Insurance delays getting into the Saudi insurance market

Orient insuranceInitially planned for 2020, Orient Insurance has postponed the opening of its Saudi branch to 2022.

Such measure was taken due to the coronavirus which makes travelling a complex matter and causes disruptions in economic exchanges.

For the record, the Emirati insurer has obtained the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) to establish a subsidiary in Saudi Arabia with a paid-up capital of 300 million AED (81.66 million USD).
