Privatisation of the CAAR

The imminent privatisation of the Compagnie Algérienne d'Assurance et de Réassurance (CAAR) has been announced. Specialised in corporate risks, CAAR which employs 1 700 staff members has reported a turnover of about 100 million USD in 2006.
