Profit for AWRIS syndicate specialising in war risks

AWRIS, the Arab War Risks Insurance Syndicate, has made ​​a profit of 19 million USD in 2013. This is the best result ever achieved since the establishment of the syndicate. Funds available to AWRIS increased from 144 million USD in 2012 to 156 million USD in 2013. The number of member companies is 177. Only 27 companies have joined the pool upon its creation in 1980.
