Prudential and Fidelity Bank launch two new bancassurance products
Prudential Life Insurance Ghana has signed a bancassurance agreement with the largest Ghanaian bank Fidelity Bank. The partnership has involved the marketing of two new insurance products through the 73 branches of the bank.
The first one "Fidelity Life Plan" consists in a life insurance policy with unlimited coverage. It is available from 29 GHS (6.76 USD) per month. This offer covers the insured against ten critical illnesses and allows them to carry out a free annual medical examination. The distinctive feature of the policy is that all premiums are reimbursed to the policyholders who have not been indemnified during the period of their contract.
The second product "Fidelity Education Plan" is an education annuity policy, available from 30 GHS (7 USD) per month.
It should be noted that the two institutions already partnered in August 2015 to market two bancassurance covers, namely, "Hospital Cash Plan" and "Farewell Plan".
