Prudential Life Ghana and Standard Chartered Bank sign a bancassurance partnership
Prudential Life Insurance Ghana has entered into a bancassurance partnership with Standard Chartered Bank. In 1998, the parent companies of the two aforementioned institutions concluded a similar agreement in Asia that was renewed in 2014 for a period of 15 years.
Mokobe Aryee, CEO of the Ghanaian insurer is optimistic about the success of this partership extension in Ghana. "This partnership, which has been in existence for 20 years in Asia, continues to bear fruit today. It will certainly be equally successful in Ghana,” he said.
This announcement comes along with the launch of three new life insurance products: Legacy Life, Future Life Plan and Life Secured Plan.
Ghanaian clients of the bank can henceforth purchase insurance products from the branches of the financial institution.
