Qatar Insurance Company creates a new company

Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) has been authorized to establish a new company at Qatar Financial Center (QFC).
The new entity shall be operational as of the first quarter of 2007. QIC has reported more than 338 million QAR (92.9 million USD) net profits in 2006, that is, a 36% increase in comparison with the previous fiscal year.
