Restructuring of the Moroccan group Holmarcom’s Finance pole

The Holmarcom group, head office of the insurance companies Atlanta and Sanad, reorganizes its Finance pole. The operation aims at reinforcing the core activities of the group and consolidating its development policy at the level of the local and African markets.

Three new entities have been established:

• Holmarcom Finance Company holds all the financial activities of the head office Holmarcom.
• Holmarcom Insurance Activities, run by Holmarcom Finance Company works on the insurance and reinsurance activities.
• Holmarcom Africa Financial Services, held by Holmarcom Insurance Activities, manages the insurance and reinsurance operations in sub-Saharan Africa.

Mainly handled by the two insurance companies Atlanta and Sanad, the Finance pole represents nearly 50% of the group’s turnover. The latter hit 8.9 billion MAD (930 million USD) in 2018. Holmarcom also operates in multiple other sectors such as agribusiness, logistic distribution and real estate.
