Results of SCOR in 2004

SCOR reinsurer published its turnover for the year 2004. The issued gross premiums for the year showed a 32% decrease compared to the year 2003. These premiums amount to 2.528 billion euros (3.32 billion USD), against 3.691 billion euros (4.84 billion USD) in 2003. The fall amounts to 40% in non-life reinsurance (damages, companies' major risks, credit guarantee) and to 16% in personal accident reinsurance.
Being the number one French reinsurer and one of the world's leaders, SCOR achieves 52% of its activities in Europe, 28% in North America and 20% in the rest of the world, (particularly in Asia).
