RMA Wataniya’s turnover and profit on the rise in 2015

RMA Wataniya has posted a turnover of 5.5 billion MAD (558 million USD) for the year 2015.
The number two on the Moroccan market has, therefore, made a 6.9% progression of its premiums in comparison, with the previous year. The life business is well poised for an 8.5% increase at 2.7 billion MAD (274 million USD), particularly thanks to saving and death insurance.

The non life business has witnessed a 5.5% growth at 2.9 billion MAD (294 million USD), supported mainly by personal insurance schemes. Net profits amounted to 572 million MAD (58 million USD), 9.8% more than 2014.

With 5.46 billion MAD (554 million USD), the company detains the most important shareholders’ equities in the market.
Such funds will be particularly useful to the company in financing its expansion policy in Africa where it has great ambitions.
