RMA Watanya acquires four companies operating in the CIMA zone

RMA Watanya has announced the acquisition of four companies operating in "three key countries" in the CIMA zone. Moroccan insurer said these countries have been chosen "because of their market size and level of development".

Although the identity of these companies has not been disclosed, it would probably be 4 subsidiaries of the Ivorian group Belife Insurance, namely: Beneficial Life Insurance S.A (Cameroon), Beneficial General Insurance S.A (Cameroon), Beneficial Life Insurance S.A (Togo) and Belife Insurance S.A (Côte d'Ivoire).

RMA also specifies that these acquisitions are only the beginnings to achieve their goal of "being present in ten countries in Africa at the end of the decade and to aim for a cumulative level of premiums 400 to 500 million USD".
