Robotization reaches the insurance industry

After the successful experiments of several Japanese insurers such as Fukoku Mutual Life Insurance, which integrated artificial intelligence into their work chain, it is the turn of the Aviva group to embark on this experience.
The British insurer has in fact carried out a survey among its 16 000 employees to assess the possibility of entrusting their tasks to robots.

The most concerned employees by this robotization are those of the call centers and those incharge of calculating the amount of premiums.

For its part, the French insurer Natixis Assurances has already entrusted the tasks of canceling contracts and processing e-mails to a robot capable of performing in a single night the equivalent of 6 working days of an employee.
