Safaricom launches health insurance for everyone

Safaricom launches health insurance for low-income populations. The product, Linda Jamii, comes from a partnership with Britam, the leading insurer in Kenya and Changamka, one of the main providers of technology in health services and the NGO PSI.

Linda Jamii provides access to full medical coverage of 3370 USD in major public hospitals.

Note that the payment of premiums, an annual amount of 140 USD will be made via M-Pesa, the mobile payment service set up by Safaricom.
