Saham Assurance: increasing results in H1 2021

Saham AssurancesSaham Assurance has posted a turnover of 3.11 billion MAD (347.81 million USD) in the first half of 2021, that is an 8.3% increase compared to 2.87 billion MAD (292.65 million USD) posted in late June 2020.

As of 30 June 2021, the non-life premiums increased by 6.7% to reach 2.612 billion MAD (292.11 million USD). The life activity has recorded a half-yearly turnover of 498 million MAD (55.69 million USD), which represents a 17.7% increase over one year. This performance is driven by the recovery of the bancassurance activity.

The company's shareholder’s equity increased from 4.478 billion MAD (497.15 million USD) as of 31 December 2020 to 4.586 billion MAD (512.87 million USD) as of 30 June 2021.
