Saham Assurance, net result up by 45% for 1H 2014

Saham Assurance achieved a net profit of 152 million MAD (18.43 million USD) in the first half of 2014, an increase of 45.6% compared to the same period in 2013.

A result supported by a turnover up by 6.6% to 2.08 billion MAD (252.4 million USD) at the end of June 2014.

Non-life activity, accounting for 90.9% (229.4 million USD) of the turnover increases by 7.9% year-on-year, contrary to life sector, decreasing by 4.7% to 192 million MAD (23.28 million USD).
