Saham Assurance: turnover increase in Q1 2022

As of 31 March 2022, Saham Assurance recorded an 8.1% turnover increase. The latter went from 1.891 billion MAD (206.29 million USD) in Q1 2021 to 2.045 billion MAD (209.41 million USD) twelve months later.

Non-life premiums increased by 10.3% to reach 1.794 billion MAD (183.71 million USD) at the end of March 2022.

During the period under review, life underwriting amounted to 251 million MAD (25.7 million USD), a decrease of 5.2% over one year.

The investments allocated to insurance operations amounted to 15.438 billion MAD (1.6 billion USD).

The net technical reserves reached 15.024 billion MAD (1.54 billion USD).
