Salama and Baraka Bank sign a partnership agreement

Salama Assurance Algeria and Baraka Bank are in partnership following the signing of a convention enabling the insurer to distribute its products through the bank's network. Salama is positioned on small and medium industrial risks and personal lines thanks to its Family Takaful products. Salama Assurance Algeria has raised its turnover from 1.916 billion DZD (28.2 million USD) in 2008 to 2.489 billion DZD (35 million USD) in 2009, that is, a 30% progression. The Algerian market growth was of 12.8% in 2009.
