Sanlam increases its capital

Sanlam has decided to raise funds worth 5.7 billion ZAR (490 million USD) in order to increase its capital. This decision was taken on March 28, 2018. Its purpose is to finance the acquisition of the Moroccan group Saham Finances.

As a reminder, Sanlam announced in early March, the takeover of Saham group by buying the remaining 53.4% ​​of the capital for an amount of 1.05 billion USD.
